John Barrowman would like to adopt.
The Torchwood star has hinted before about fatherhood, but said he is still trying to persuade civil partner Scott Gill.
"That was not a rumour. I'd love to do it - but not yet," he said.
"Scott and I have talked about it, and I think I'm more into it than Scott is. I'm working on that."
Unlike celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Madonna, John - who reprises his role as time-traveller Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood: Miracle Day - plans to adopt kids from the UK.
"I would love to adopt from this country, the UK, and have two children. I don't know particularly where we would go, but it would be from the UK," he continued.
And he would also consider surrogacy, like Sir Elton John and David Furnish.
"If we were to have one of our own, it would have to be a surrogate unless miracles like on Torchwood: Miracle Day happen and one of us can pop out a baby.," he quipped.
Torchwood: Miracle Day begins on BBC One on July 14.
