BBC cuts moment Beverley Knight stopped performing at Children In Need concert

The moment singer Beverley Knight was forced to stop performing during a Children In Need charity concert after "feeling faint" was edited out of last night's BBC1 show.

Knight, 43, sang at the pre-recorded Children In Need Rocks For Terry event, celebrating the life of the late broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan, at London's Royal Albert Hall.

She was helped off the stage during a performance of Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You earlier this month.

The West End star later returned to the stage to sing again and it was that performance which was shown on BBC1 on Monday night.

A spokeswoman for Knight had been quoted as saying that she had felt faint mid-performance after suffering from low blood sugar.

Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs, Gregory Porter and Rick Astley also performed at the event.
