Belfast Vital: Organisers issue important entry information ahead of Tiesto gig

Belfast Vital organisers have issued important entry information ahead of Saturday's Tiesto gig.

The festival got off to a rocking start on Wednesday with UK rockers Muse headlining with support from Biffy Cylro, Nothing But Thieves, and Dublin band Fangclub.

On Saturday Dutch DJ Tiesto will headline the second gig with support from Clean Bandit and Robin Schulz.

Organisers have issued important information reminding concert-goers it's a strictly over 16s event.

No unaccompanied Under 16s will be admitted and ID checks will be strictly enforced.

In addition no bags larger than A4 size will be permitted.

The PSNI has also issued safety advice ahead of the concerts reminding people to plan their journey in advance.

Anyone driving to the concert is reminded to make sure they park legally and avoid obstructing the driveway of any residential or business properties.

Officers said: "If you are planning on drinking at the concert - do not drive.  It only takes one drink to impair your decision making ability.

"If you intend to drink, please do so responsibly and show respect to local residents, businesses and their property on the way to and from the events.

"Enjoy the concert, look out for each other, and follow the directions of the event security staff and police who are there to keep you safe."
