Belfast's Victoria Square stages biggest ever Christmas Parade

Victoria Square Belfast staged its biggest ever Christmas parade on Saturday as over 500 dancers, musicians and circus acts from across Northern Ireland performed at the official Christmas lights switch-on.

The spectacular parade ignited the Christmas spirit in the city while showcasing the rich talent Northern Ireland has to offer; from the Ballet School of Dreams dancing the Nutcracker Waltz of the Flowers to the Hilcroft Special Needs School Makaton Choir signing Frosty The Snowman.

Santa brought a special guest, Mrs Claus, to help do the all-important task of turning on the lights of the infamous Victoria Square Christmas tree.
