Blink-182 'excited' after scoring first UK chart-topping album

Blink-182 have scored their first UK number one album.

California is the US band's seventh studio album but the first to feature vocalist Matt Skiba, who replaced founding member Tom DeLonge last year.

Skiba, drummer Travis Barker and bassist Mark Hoppus told that they were "so excited and thankful to be number one in the UK".

In the singles chart, Drake continues to carve a path into the British history books.

One Dance notches its thirteenth consecutive week at the top spot, which makes him the third longest consecutive UK number one of all time.

He's only two weeks behind Wet Wet Wet's Love Is All Around and three behind current record-holder and fellow Canadian Bryan Adams with (Everything I Do) I Do It For You.

Drake makes Kungs Vs Cookin' On 3 Burners' This Girl settle for second for the fourth week, while he also claims third place for his collaboration Too Good with Rihanna.

Rihanna and Calvin Harris are at four with This Is What You Came For, while Adele rounds off the top five with Send My Love (To Your New Lover).

In the album charts, Adele's 25 takes the second spot while fellow Glastonbury headliners Coldplay come third with A Head Full Of Dreams.

As Beyonce's Formation tour continues, Lemonade rises a spot to four, while ELO's All Over The World drops to five.
