Cage settles case with ex-partner
Nicolas Cage and his ex-girlfriend have settled a dispute after an all-day series of meetings with a judge, lawyers have said.
Ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton sued the Oscar winner in December 2009, claiming he owed her 13 million US dollars and broke a promise to give her a house for her and their son.
The actor did not speak to reporters as he left a Los Angeles courthouse after more than five hours of settlement discussions.
Nicolas faced off with his ex-girlfriend throughout the day, walking past her when he arrived and both were apparently present for a final meeting with Superior Court Judge Teresa Sanchez-Gordon that solidified the deal.
The judge met privately with each side several times before the confidential agreement was reached.
