Camilla Thurlow enjoys a romantic picnic date with new boy Jamie on Love Island

Jamie Jewitt chose Camilla Thurlow to join him on a picnic date on Wednesday night's (05Jul17) Love Island.

It might be a case of third time lucky for Camilla Thurlow, after new boy Jamie Jewitt appeared to sweep her off her feet on Wednesday night's (05Jul17) Love Island.

The blonde bomb disposal expert has won over viewers since the show began with her somewhat old-fashioned approach to relationships, which is in stark contrast to her fellow islanders' moral codes. Following a doomed romance with Jonny Mitchell, who then ditched her for new girl Tyla Carr, Camilla seemed to be getting on well with another newcomer, Craig Lawson. However, the hurt she was still feeling following the Jonny/Tyla situation meant Camilla wasn't ready to throw herself into a new romance, so she called time on the fledgling pairing before it even began.

But fans rejoiced on Wednesday's show after it seemed that Camilla may have finally found her perfect match on the show - long-haired heartthrob Jamie.

The male model, who previously appeared on E4 series Taking New York, chose Camilla as one of his dates upon entering the villa, and the pair then enjoyed a romantic picnic together.

It was their shared love of literature that made Camilla and Jamie bond the most, with Prince Harry's rumoured former flame admitting she often reads two books at a time.

Jamie then replied that he's also a big fan of reading, but prefers non-fiction.

In the Beach Hut after the date, coy Camilla admitted she does find the newcomer "attractive" but refused to go into further details.

Jamie was one of two new boys entering the villa, alongside athlete Theo Campbell. Theo also stirred things up just hours after his arrival, during a game of beer pong. The match required him to share a steamy kiss with Tyla and Montana, with Jonny just metres away.

Despite insisting he's "not a jealous person" and understood the beer pong was "a game", Jonny later admitted in the Beach Hut: "But I just don't like him. He's a funny lad. I feel like he's going to stir the pot a bit."
