Jim Carrey has said his upcoming children's book is not just for kids, it's for the whole family.
The Kick-Ass 2 star has written How Roland Rolls about a little wave named Roland who realises he's actually part of the whole big, wide ocean. Father and grandfather Jim wants the book to help parents bond with their children.
He wrote on the book's website: "I wrote How Roland Rolls specifically as a way for parents and grandparents to engage with children in quality together time.
"Not only will the message of the story help them feel connected, worthwhile, and a part of something vast and grand... the very act of adults spending time simply to be with them, and only with them, will pay off in an experience of fulfilment that's truly beyond compare."
Jim, 51, revealed on Twitter that the book, illustrated by Rob Nason, will be published this autumn.
