CastleCourt to offer free visits to Santa's grotto in December

In a first for the city centre, CastleCourt is offering Belfast visitors the chance to visit its iconic Santa’s Grotto to meet Mr Claus and receive a special gift – completely free of charge.

The shopping centre will be providing free admission to its spectacular Santa’s Grotto every day, up to and including Christmas Eve.

CastleCourt’s big-hearted move marks the 25th anniversary since the launch of its Grotto and annual Santa Parade, which earlier this month attracted thousands of visitors.

It follows news that access to the city’s main shopping thoroughfare is to reopen from Monday, December 3.

Paul McMahon, CastleCourt Centre Director, said:  “We are delighted to bring shoppers a free Santa’s Grotto visit and gift this year – for 25 years CastleCourt has heralded the arrival of Christmas to the streets of Belfast with our annual Santa Parade and this year we are making Christmas even bigger and better with our Santa’s Grotto offer!"
