Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge pregnant with third child
The Duchess is suffering from acute morning sickness and had cancelled an engagement planned for Monday.
British royal Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her third child.
Catherine and her husband Prince William announced her pregnancy on Monday (4Sep17).
A statement from officials at their Kensington Palace residence read, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."
In the statement, royal officials announced the Duchess is suffering from acute morning sickness and had cancelled an engagement planned for Monday. She is being cared for by medics at Kensington Palace.
The new arrival will be a younger sibling to William and Catherine's son Prince George, four, and daughter Princess Charlotte, two.
