Celebrity Big Brother housemates face another twist as eternal nominations return
CBB bosses are sure to be hoping the idea will put a cat among the pigeons, as it did last year (16) when Stephen Bear was chosen to be put up for eternal nomination.
The Celebrity Big Brother housemates are facing another new twist, as bosses have decided to bring back eternal nominations.
The concept means that all housemates will be asked to vote on which housemate should be given "eternal immunity" from all nominations in the future. But that's not all - as Rylan Clark-Neal explained on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side on Thursday night (19Jan17).
"The housemate who wins the eternal immunity will choose one housemate to be up for eternal nomination," he said. "Which means…it is the first eternal immunity and eternal nomination of the series."
CBB bosses are sure to be hoping the idea will put stir the housemates up as it did last year (16) when Stephen Bear was chosen to be put up for eternal nomination.
Already causing havoc in the house, Stephen told his fellow housemates after the decision was made: "You think I am bad now… I can get a whole lot worse."
And he kept his word, stirring up drama and making enemies, although that didn't prevent him from being made the eventual winner of the series.
Viewers of this year's series have so far been enthralled with the mixture of failed romances, explosive rows and hilarious anecdotes.
The latest spurned advances came from Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry, who attempted to get into bed with Calum Best and give him a kiss.
"No kissing. No kissing," Calum said, before adding, "Just chill Chlo! We'll have a flirt tomorrow. You're a beautiful young girl and I enjoyed your company tonight. Chloe, go to bed. Stop being difficult and get to bed!"
Chloe attempted to disguise her hurt at the rebuff, retorting: "Nothing will happen, I don't care!"
The awkward situation occurred after Chloe had declared her feelings for Calum during a superhero task, admitting: "Yes, I do want to make out with Calum Best as he turns us on. And I know for a fine fact I will before I leave the show! Sorry, I like to be big headed."
