Celebs dance at Holland colour show
Henry Holland's celebrity friends danced in the front row as the designer showcased his Autumn/Winter collection.
Model and presenter Alexa Chung, DJ Nick Grimshaw, socialite Pixie Geldof and model Poppy Delevigne shimmied in their seats as they watched the House of Holland show at London Fashion Week.
Models paraded up and down the catwalk at My Beautiful Fashion at Goldsmith's Hall in pillar box red, fuchsia, navy and sky blue.
Holland said his collection, which he dubbed "Mork and Mindy do the Tour de France" was inspired by 70s sci-fi and futuristic sportswear.
He said: "It was very 70s with the palette and the silhouette. We have a bit of Margot from the Good Life in some of it. We are known for using strong colours and we often use an acidic palette with purples and turquoises but I wanted to do something a bit more primary. Red and navy were the anchor colours.
"We take traditional motifs and do them our own way so as we did the tartan and made it bright purple, we've had a go with houndstooth doing it in silk pieces and print."
He said the House of Holland girl would be "flushed from her bike ride" adding: "She would definitely have a low ponytail so she could have her helmet on, safety first."
The designer added he was excited about the new TV show he would be hosting with Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, which has secured Rihanna as the executive producer.
He said of the pop diva: "We have a meeting in a couple of weeks, it's a bit scary but very exciting.
"Fingers crossed I will be kitting her out in House of Holland, whatever she wants."
