Cheryl Cole reportedly sent Katy Perry a set of One Direction dolls as an early birthday present.
The Girls Aloud star, who met the US singer on The Graham Norton Show, decided to surprise Katy with a batch of figures along with a gold cat charm, reported The Sun.
"Cheryl and Katy have become close since they appeared on The Graham Norton Show. Cheryl's been busy with her tour so she wanted to make sure she sent a present well in advance and let Katy know she was thinking of her," a source told the paper.
"She knows what a big fan Katy is of the boys and how she has a major crush on all five of them so she knew Katy would love the dolls."
The Teenage Dream singer - who performed at Comedy Central's Night Of Too Many Stars charity fund-raising event in New York on October 13 - has made no secret of her fondness for the British boyband, whom she presented a gong to at the MTV Video Music Awards.
When she gave them the Best Pop Video award, Katy kissed Niall Horan and Harry Styles.
The 27-year-old has said: "They are very cute boys but very illegal for me."
Katy, who sang a touching version of her hit Firework with an autistic singer, was joined at the star-studded fundraiser by Carly Rae Jepsen, Tina Fey, Seth Rogen, Ben Stiller, Liev Schreiber and Kevin Bacon to raise awareness and funds for autism.
