Christine Lampard and Camilla attend Women of the Year awards
The Duchess of Cornwall has called on women to unite through "these turbulent times in which we live".
She was speaking at the Women of the Year lunch yesterday, where she gave an award to the Manchester emergency services.
More than 400 women were chosen to attend the event in celebration of their achievements and contribution to society, including Newtownards-born TV presenter Christine Lampard and Great British Bake Off presenter Prue Leith. They were joined by women from all walks of life, from MPs to teachers, journalists to sports stars.
Giving a speech at the InterContinental Hotel in London, Camilla said: "In these turbulent times in which we live, I believe it is more important than ever for women of all ages and from all walks of life to unite."
