Celebrity Big Brother has introduced a nominations twist before the finale, giving half the housemates twice as many votes as the other half.
The members of the winning team of a Christmas task will get to make two nominations, while the losing team members will only get to make one.
Team Elf, made up of Marnie Simpson, Frankie Grande, Renee Graziano and Aubrey O'Day gained the upper hand in a series of festive challenges that included riding a bucking Christmas pudding and playing a board game.
Samantha Fox, Ricky Norwood, Stephen Bear and Katie Waissel made up the losing Team Reindeer.
The nominated housemates will join Bear in facing the public vote because he has an eternal nomination.
After hearing the news of the twist, Bear said: "I'm going to see some surprises. It's D-Day. It's on like Donkey Kong."
Norwood added: "With two nominations you have to put up somebody you've been getting on with."
The housemates' choices will be shown in Monday's episode.
In footage that was aired tonight, contestants woke up to find Father Christmas in the living room and Shakin' Stevens' hit Merry Christmas Everyone playing.
In the diary room, Mob Wives star Graziano revealed her best and worst Christmas presents to Big Brother, saying her best was "w hen my father came home from jail" and her worst was finding out "my husband, now ex-husband was having an affair, and that the girl was pregnant".
On Friday The Only Way Is Essex star Lewis Bloor was booted off the Channel 5 reality show alongside radio DJ James Whale as part of the first double eviction of the series.
