Clark dreams up make-up gadget

Rylan Clark could be swapping the Celebrity Big Brother house for Dragon's Den after dreaming up a make-up gadget.

Former X Factor star Rylan, who is among the housemates in the Channel 5 show, described his business idea to the other contestants as they chatted.

He told them it was "a machine that cups your face and every morning if you're in a hurry you put your face in it and sprays all your make-up on".

Rylan, currently the bookies' favourite to win the reality TV contest, explained that users would pre-set the device to the shape of their face. Customers would be able to choose from five looks to spray on, which he said would be called "Rylan Face".

Although the idea received a warm reception from housemates, his suggested price tag of £3,000 raised a few eyebrows.

"With the £3,000 you get 100 applications and then all you have to do is top up the tubes with make-up," he said.

When former Steps singer Claire Richards challenged him on the price, Rylan jokingly replied: "How about you just do your own make-up?"

With his business cap on, the former X Factor contestant said buyers could pay in five instalments and get a free pen just for enquiring.

Model Paula Hamilton, US reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt and jockey Frankie Dettori are the first housemates up for eviction from this series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Nominations were screened on last night's edition of the show ahead of the first live eviction show on Wednesday.
