Claudia welcomed back to Strictly
Claudia Winkleman received a warm welcome and managed to hold off the tears as she returned to presenting Strictly Come Dancing.
After asking audiences to "bear with me" on Twitter yesterday, the presenter returned to her role co-hosting with Tess Daly after three weeks off to care for her daughter Matilda, eight, who suffered burns while trick-or-treating on Halloween.
She received a standing ovation from the studio audience, and became tearful only when she received a hug from professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff at the end of the show.
Meanwhile it was a positive week for almost all eight couples as three dances scored tens and both Jake Wood and Frankie Bridge received top scores of 38.
Jake was called a "twerking wonder" by judge Bruno Tonioli after his macarena-themed samba, which left Darcey Bussell overwhelmed and fanning herself.
Meanwhile Caroline Flack almost took a tumble after she stepped on her dress at the start of her dance, an American smooth, but she recovered well to receive a score of 33.
Craig Revel-Horwood praised her for her recovery. "You did make a great save, and you got back into it. It was really, really good. Classy."
Simon Webbe followed last week's successful Argentine tango with a score of 36 for his salsa.
Darcey praised his improved dancing, saying: "You're like a different man - you look so relaxed in everything."
However, it was not a great week for everyone as Steve Backshall scored a four from Craig after his "stompy" American football-themed jive, putting him at the bottom of the leaderboard, seven points behind Casualty actress Sunetra Sarker.
Barry Manilow is due to perform on tomorrow's results show.
