Coleen mulls over Wayne allegations
Coleen Rooney has been left to mull over allegations surrounding footballer husband Wayne as he jetted off to Switzerland with the England squad.
The Manchester United star was included in manager Fabio Capello's squad despite newspaper reports claiming that he bedded a prostitute while Coleen was pregnant with their first child.
Coleen has so far made no comment over the allegations and nor has 24-year-old Wayne, who appeared grim-faced as he jetted off with the rest of the team from Luton Airport.
Publicist Max Clifford said as long as he keeps scoring goals the fans will not care.
Max said: "The only thing Wayne Rooney has to worry about is his wife, whether she, like all the others, is prepared to accept her husband's alleged infidelities. Nobody in football gives a monkey's as long as he's winning on the pitch."
It is not the first time Wayne has been linked to prostitution. In 2004, Wayne admitted paying for sex following allegations in a Sunday newspaper that he visited massage parlours in Liverpool.
He said: "It was at a time when I was very young and immature and before I had settled down with Coleen."
Coleen said in her autobiography later: "I was so upset, my head was all over the place."
She said that the visits had allegedly taken place at a time in the relationship when she had "never even slept with Wayne". She said: "I was only 16 and we weren't having that kind of relationship at that stage. We used to meet at the chippy or the cinema."
The couple tied the knot in a short ceremony on the Italian Riviera in June 2008 and last November Coleen gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Kai Wayne Rooney.
