Cyrus to host Saturday Night Live
Miley Cyrus is set to appear on Saturday Night Live.
The pop star, who has made headlines for her twerking moves with Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards, will pull double duty as host and musical guest on the US sketch show on October 5, reported Access Hollywood.
It would mark Miley's second time as a host on SNL.
Tina Fey will return to the late night stage to host the season premiere a week before Miley on September 28, where Arcade Fire will perform. This would be her fourth hosting stint since she left the cast in 2006.
Bruce Willis will play host for the second time on October 12, and will be joined by Katy Perry.
Saturday Night Live's 39th series will be Seth Meyers' final season before he leaves to present his own late-night show in 2014.
