Danielle Armstrong splits from boyfriend months after quitting TOWIE for him

Danielle Armstrong quit the ITVBe reality show in part to concentrate on the relationship, so is likely to be devastated by the split.

Danielle Armstrong has split from boyfriend Daniel Spiller, just months after quitting The Only Way Is Essex for him.

The pretty 29-year-old started dating former footballer Daniel late last year (16), just weeks before making the tough decision to leave the ITVBe reality show - with their relationship a huge part of her quitting.

"I’ve got my shop that’s going from strength to strength and I have met someone new, that I’m excited about, it’s still very early days but I can see it going somewhere too," she said while announcing her TOWIE departure. "I just think sometimes change is good. I’m excited for this next chapter in my life."

However, things have already come to an end between the pair, with a spokesperson for Danielle telling The Sun Online: "I can confirm that Danielle is no longer with Dan."

The reasons for the pair's break-up have yet to be revealed.

The last picture of the exes together was on 16 July, as they enjoyed a meal together in Canary Wharf, London. Sharing the snap on her Instagram page, Danielle wrote: "S U N D A Y S W I T H H I M #sunday #roast #cute #london #love". It was the latest in a string of sweet posts from Danielle gushing about her relationship, with another previous post reading: "Can't explain how much love I have for this one @spillsy17 I really have found my Prince Charming (sorry for the cheese )."

Daniel's last picture with Danielle on his Instagram page was shared in June, when the pair enjoyed a romantic break in Dubai together.

Danielle also hinted at some drama in her life with a picture of herself and her mum shared to Instagram on Thursday, alongside which she wrote: "It's days like today I appreciate the special bond I have with my mum. Love you always my best mate my mum."
