Dawn French and Sheila Hancock cook up love rival drama

First pictures have been revealed of actors Dawn French and Sheila Hancock in a new four-part drama set to hit screens next month.

The Sky 1 series, Delicious, tells the story of two women - played by French and Emilia Fox - who go head to head after being betrayed by the same man.

French plays passionate cook Gina, who was once married to the successful chef and hotel owner Leo Vincent, played by Iain Glen, in Cornwall.

When Vincent leaves her for the glamorous Sam, played by Fox, he embarks on an affair with Gina.

But Sam confides her suspicions over Vincent to Gina, unaware that her partner's ex-wife has become his "other woman".

Delicious also stars Sheila Hancock as Vincent's mother, Mimi, with newcomers Ruairi O'Connor as Vincent and Sam's son Michael, and Tanya Reynolds as their daughter, Teresa.

It is written by Dan Sefton (Mr Selfridge, Secret Diary of a Call Girl), directed by Clare Kilner (The Wedding Date) and made by Bandit Television for Sky 1.
