Dermot O'Leary kicked off Facebook

Dermot O'Leary has revealed that he has been kicked off Facebook because he was thought to be an imposter.

The X Factor host did have an account on the social networking site, but it was taken off.

"I've got to be honest, they chucked me off Facebook - they thought it was someone pretending to be me, so I haven't got a Facebook, they literally threw me off Facebook, how annoying is that?" he told Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell on his breakfast show.

Dermot also revealed how X Factor judge Simon Cowell has a bath in his dressing room.

"Simon's decked out his whole dressing room, his whole dressing room is monochrome. It's like his house, and he's got a bath in his dressing room as well, no word of a lie," he continued.

"I have been in there. He loves a bath, Simon, it gives him time to think."

The 37-year-old credited the TV mogul for giving him a masterclass in confidence.

"He's a workaholic. He's a great boss, and I'm not just saying that," he said.

"He's very loyal, he's very honest, and he just wants that in return. He smells fear though, he's like a wolf. If you're confident in your own opinions then he's good, but he doesn't like indecision, he doesn't like fear, he likes people to be confident. He's taught me a lot actually in that regard, I owe him a lot."
