Alesha Dixon has reportedly revealed she would have left Strictly Come Dancing even if Simon Cowell hadn't poached her for Britain's Got Talent.
The 33-year-old stepped down from the judging panel of the dance programme earlier this year and is now helping TV's Mr Nasty, comedian David Walliams and Amanda Holden to find a new star on the talent show.
She told the Daily Star: "I felt three years was a respectable amount of time. It was a fantastic experience as a contestant and as a judge, and it was time for new things.
"I don't want to be predictable. I want to try new things. I want new challenges. That's what life is all about."
Alesha said she likes that BGT "celebrates the best of British".
"This show has everything. Not only do I love dancing but I love singing, I love dancing dogs, I love comedy, I love everything entertainment. This is the one show that enables and encompasses all that," she said.
