Dixon rapped for BGT favouritism
Alesha Dixon has been criticised for not admitting that she already knew a Britain's Got Talent hopeful from a previous TV talent show.
The ITV variety show judge praised body popper Kieran Lai after his audition, saying: "You absolutely blew our minds with that."
But according to the Daily Star, she failed to mention that she had already met Kieran on her 2011 BBC show Alesha's Street Dance Stars.
Kieran, 17, who also reached the semi-finals of Sky dancing contest Got To Dance in 2013, didn't bring up their connection either, although in the past judges and auditionees have been open about any previous contact.
A BGT spokesperson said: "Kieran Lai went through the same process as all other acts and to say he has secret links with Alesha Dixon is ridiculous.
"Kieran was auditioned on his performance on the day and received a yes from all the judges."
Alesha also had a tough time after her return to performing following the birth of her daughter Azura six months ago.
She was singing at children's charity Rays Of Sunshine's Royal Albert Hall concert, but told the Daily Mirror that she'd felt more than a little queasy.
The former Mysteeq star said: "I came off stage and just threw up. As soon as I got on stage I felt sick, I don't know why. I felt OK after though, I think it just needed to happen."
Olly Murs, Pixie Lott and Union J also performed at the charity gig.
