DJ Chris Evans in charity road trip

DJ Chris Evans showed off his £12 million pride and joy during his road trip in aid of Children In Need.

The Radio 2 breakfast host, 45, posed with the 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO during a stop off.

He has raised £500,000 by auctioning chances to drive one of seven vintage Ferraris.

The Chris Evans Ferrari Drive's 200-mile tour pulled into Longleat, near Warminster, Wiltshire, after travelling in convoy from his home in Berkshire.

Among the cars were five from his own collection - a 1969 365 GTC, a 1985 288 GTO, a 1992 F40, a 2010 599 GTO and a 2011 SA Aperta.

Three others - a 1963 250 GT Lusso Competition, a 1966 275 GTB 4 Cam and the back up a 1964 250 Lusso - had been loaned especially for the event.

When Evans and the convoy arrived at Longleat, they were greeted by park owner Lord Bath.

During the pit stop a crowd gathered to admire the vintage vehicles and have photographs taken with the radio star.

The DJ had kicked off the four-day BBC Children In Need Drive And Dine extravaganza with a live broadcast from the bottom of his Berkshire garden.
