Does Paddy 'likey' his catchphrase?

Paddy McGuinness has revealed fans shout random catchphrases at him when he's out and about.

The comedian uses catchphrases such as "No likey, no lighty" and "let the plug see the socket" while hosting dating show Take Me Out, and says people shout them at him all the time.

"You always get that, but it's just random now. I was doing a stand up show the other day and this bloke went, 'Hey! Let the table see the onion', and I'm like, 'What the hell does that mean?!' They just shout anything now, and you just have to say, 'Yep, thank you. Great'."

But the Phoenix Nights comedian added that he didn't mind it happening.

He said: "Firstly, it's flattering when people pick up on it, but also catchphrases never did Bruce Forsyth any harm did they? And he must have had about a million catchphrases."

:: The new series of Take Me Out starts on Saturday, January 7 on ITV1.
