Dublin wax museum 'delighted' with Emilia Clarke's comments about Daenerys waxwork
The actress said the waxwork better resembled her brother
The National Wax Museum plus has responded to comments made by Emilia Clarke about their new waxwork of her Game of Thrones character.
Clarke (32), who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO fantasy series, made the comments on the latest episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' in the US.
Speaking about the waxwork, which was unveiled at the Dublin museum last week, she joked that it better resembled her brother.
"Here's the funny thing, if anyone wants to know what my brother actually looks like, it's that. He looks like that. I mean, that's him with mascara and a wig, I mean, legitimately it's frightening. I was like 'that is my brother'," she said.
A spokesperson for the museum told Independent.ie that they are “delighted” with Emilia's comments.
“We were completely surprised that she was shown our waxwork and she was an absolute star when she started talking about it. We are absolutely honoured to even say that we were on Jimmy Kimmel,” they said.

“But we would also like to stress that we are an Irish museum and we are very proud of our Irish artwork and it is one sculptor that we are incredibly proud of.
"It’s a piece of art that was never created before and we should forever be proud of that.”
The waxwork is the first from the National Wax Museum plus this year and stands in the Grand Hall of Fame.
