Eamonn Holmes is asking people across the UK to channel their passions, hobbies or dreams and do their thing to help change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
The Belfast-born broadcaster was speaking as BBC Children in Need launches its fundraising campaign on Thursday.
Eamonn said: "We are always so generous in Northern Ireland.
"People here are so good, but it gets harder every year to raise the amounts needed - go out there and get fundraising now!
"I know I can rely on Northern Ireland where we always do our bit and more - you'll be helping BBC Children in Need to support some of the most disadvantaged young people here in Northern Ireland and across the United Kingdom."
