Eamonn Holmes has paid tribute to his late sister-in-lawas he and his wife Ruth Langsford celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
It was announced last week that Ruth's sister, Julia, had died after a long illness.
The TV presenter, who fought back tears on Friday as he introduced This Morning without his wife by his side, posted a picture from the couple's wedding day in 2010.
"It was the hottest day of the year, June 26th 2010," Eamonn wrote.
"We can't celebrate our anniversary today but we can still remember Julia in the best way, as one of our Bridesmaids, smiling, dancing and singing."
Ruth and the Belfast man have been together since 1997. They welcomed their son Jack in 2002 and finally tied the knot in a lavish ceremony seven years later.
Holmes also has three children, Declan, Rebecca and Niall, from his first marriage to Gabrielle Holmes, who he separated from in 1995 and ultimately divorced in 2005.
