Newcomer Elliot Knight has said he isn't worried about being plucked from obscurity to land a title role.
The actor, 21, was in his final year of drama school when he was picked for the title role of Sky 1's epic adaptation of Sinbad.
But he wasn't phased about starring in the huge production, saying: "Worrying doesn't achieve anything. You just crack on with the job."
Elliot has been photographed in nothing but a dash of 'guy' liner and a pair of pantaloons on promotional posters for the new series of Sinbad.
"It's a very strange situation where you have pictures of yourself topless posted everywhere and people are thrusting them in your face all the time," he admitted.
But the actor said that when he met one of his co-stars, Sophie Okonedo, he "humiliated [him]self".
"I don't tend to get star-struck but I knew the scenes I was doing with Sophie ... are quite intense and she's gorgeous as well."
He added: "I wasn't ready and sort of freaked," he said. "She was really cool and said, 'Nice to meet you' and put her hand out.
"For some reason I grabbed it, got down on one knee and kissed her hand. It was terrible and then I just stood there like a fool for five minutes."
:: Sinbad is on Sky 1 HD on Sundays.
