Family will decide on Chester Bennington's Carpool Karaoke episode, says Corden
James Corden will let Chester Bennington's family decide what happens to an episode of Carpool Karaoke that the late singer appeared in before his death.
One of Bennington's last projects with Linkin Park was filming an episode for the upcoming spin-off series.
Asked if the episode will ever be aired, Corden said: "We will approach it in whichever manner his family would like it to be handled.
"We consider it to be not our decision to make. We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don't think there's any other way we could deal with it, really.
"And it's completely up to them and that's a conversation we haven't even thought about having right now because it's a tragedy."
Bennington was found dead at his home in California on July 20 after he took his own life. He was 41.
Around 200 relatives, friends and fellow musicians attended his funeral just over a week later.
Following the singer's death Bennington’s wife Talinda posted an emotional message online asking “how do I move on?” from the loss.
She said: “I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero-their Daddy.
“We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy.
“How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul?
“The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left.”
