Fearne Cotton plans to protect her kids' identities until they're older
Fearne wants her children to decide whether they'll be in the spotlight or not.
Fearne Cotton refuses to show her children’s faces in photos as she doesn’t want to force them into the spotlight.
The TV presenter shares son Rex, four, and 20-month-old daughter Honey with husband Jesse Wood and although she has no problem discussing her family in public, Fearne remains fiercely private when it comes to protecting their identities.
"I've never posted a picture of their faces online because I don't want them to be singled out at school,” she told The Mirror.
"It's up to them if they want to be in the industry. Some parents don't care if they put their children in the public eye, but I want them to make the decision for themselves when they're older.”
The Celebrity Juice star does upload photos with just the backs of her kids’ heads on show though so fans can get a glimpse of her personal life behind away from the camera, which she feels is important to share.
Fearne, 35, who is gearing up for the release of her new recipe book Cook, Eat, Love, went on to open up about the eating habits of her youngsters - admitting she suffers the same problems as other parents when it comes to dealing with difficult eaters.
"I WISH they would eat like us!” she laughed of her little ones. "They're very young so they're good with some foods and fussy with other things.
"They both eat proteins like fish and sausages and carbs, but Rex loves eggs, while Honey won’t look at one. She loves sweet potato and he will only eat broccoli.
"But these are quirks they'll get over with age, time and perseverance."
