Ferne McCann pregnant with acid attack boyfriend's baby - report

Arthur Collins has been arrested by armed police over the attack.

Ferne McCann is reportedly expecting her first child with her boyfriend Arthur Collins, who has been arrested over an acid attack in a London nightclub.

The former The Only Way is Essex star is said to have revealed her baby news to Collins before he allegedly carried out the attack in east London nightspot Mangle in the early hours of 17 April (17), according to The Sun newspaper.

Two people were left partially blinded and 20 others suffered injuries, with the 25-year-old finally captured by armed police on Saturday (22Apr17) after five days on the run.

McCann, 26, is reported to have found out she was expecting before the couple posed for a photoshoot for OK! magazine, in which they described how they were moving in together and planning their future.

A source told The Sun the reality star has already tried to distance herself from Collins after news broke of his alleged involvement in the horrific nightclub attack by deleting snaps of him from her social media accounts.

"Ferne is absolutely devastated by what has happened. She cannot believe someone she loved is capable of doing what Arthur is accused of. She is under an incredible amount of stress. But Ferne will roll her sleeves up and make the best possible life for her and the child," the source explained.

Collins was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northamptonshire, on Saturday, on suspicion of attempted murder. After Metropolitan Police Officers raided Arthur's Hertfordshire home on Tuesday (18Apr17), McCann released a statement via her spokesperson telling Collins to come forward and cooperate with the police line of questioning.

"Ferne is aware that the police wish to speak to Arthur Collins and the nature of the accusations against him," the representative said. "Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their inquiries.

"She was not with Arthur on Sunday night; was not at Mangle; and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded. As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately."

Andre Phoenix, 21, has already been charged by police with seven counts of grievous bodily harm after the attack.
