Fifth Harmony hit back at Sarah Harding's derogatory remarks
Sarah Harding had caused controversy when she accused Fifth Harmony of being too sexy to sell their records.
Fifth Harmony have slammed Sarah Harding after the former Girls Aloud star made some derogatory remarks about them on Celebrity Big Brother.
Sarah, 35, was one fifth of Girls Aloud alongside Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts. She's made several unsuccessful attempts to revive her career since the girl group came to an end, with her stint on the Channel 5 reality show the latest.
However, Sarah's time on the series hasn't been without its controversy, and she hit headlines following a chat with her new beau Chad Johnson inside the famous house, when the former The Bachelorette star asked Sarah if she had heard of U.S. band Fifth Harmony.
"Um, yes, those slutty ones? Yeah," Sarah said. "They all wear next to nothing, all the modern girl bands do. Slutty, slutty, slutty. It’s just 'sex sells, sex sells'."
The Fifth Harmony girls have now responded to Sarah's comments, with Dinah Jane Hansen insisting they're more than happy with the outfits they wear.
"Nobody has ever told us 'you have to wear this because this is the look," Dinah told The Sun newspaper. "I honestly speak for myself; I go out there wearing shorts that I feel comfortable in, maybe because my thighs are my favourite thing about me so I can show them off.
“That's like my favourite part of my body so I'm definitely going to go out there and show some legs because they're fine as hell."
Sarah also criticised Fifth Harmony for "just slut dropping and twerking" in their videos, compared to Girls Aloud's "proper dance routines".
But Dinah took her remarks with a pinch of salt, even offering to give Sarah some tips in the sexy dance move department if she wanted any.
"I don’t know who she is," Dinah continued. "If she wants some lessons or something – people always want to learn how to booty pop like Fifth Harmony.
“But shout out to her; keep doing you girl. I really don't know who she is.”
