Fifty Shades of Grey could become a musical

It's dominated the box office and now Fifty Shades of Grey is reportedly hoping to whip the West End and Broadway into a frenzy.

The writer of the erotic novel E.L James has reportedly been in talks with theatre bosses to bring her bestseller to the stage.

According to The Sun James is in talks to set the story to music and hopes it will be as successful as the films.

Holywood actor Jamie Dornan brought the main character of business tycoon Christian Grey to life with the 2015 movie.

He is back as the lead role alongside Dakota Johnson as his student conquest Anastasia Steele in the sequel Fifty Shades Darker.

The first film cleaned up at the box office, taking in more than half-a-billion dollars globally.
