Fourth stained glass window unveiled in Belfast Game of Thrones legacy trail
A fourth giant stained glass window has been unveiled in Belfast to mark the latest episode in the final season of Game of Thrones.
The unveiling outside the SSE Arena follows the release of the latest episode in the fantasy epic.
The window is the fourth of six that will be erected each week across Belfast as the new episodes are shown on the small screen, as part of a Tourism Ireland initiative.
Each window will highlight a key House from the show, with a series of panels depicting the most talked-about moments from the entire saga.
This week’s window is all about House Targaryen: from Daenerys’ dragon egg laden re-emergence from the funeral pyre, to Drogon’s fiery onslaught of the gold convoy, this fourth window represents the fans’ favourite, most shared and most discussed Targaryen moments.
When all six windows are up, they’ll form a new Game of Thrones trail in the city, something to celebrate the impact the show has had on the Belfast and Northern Ireland.
