Gabor feared dying after Taylor
Zsa Zsa Gabor feared she would be next following Elizabeth Taylor's death and was sent to hospital with high blood pressure, her publicist has said.
John Blanchette said the 94-year-old celebrity was watching the news on Wednesday morning at her Los Angeles home when she learned her friend and one-time neighbour had died.
The actress was inconsolable and commented: "Oh, Jane Russell and Liz Taylor - I'm next" in reference to the common myth that celebrity deaths come in threes.
Blanchette said Zsa Zsa's blood pressure soared and she was taken to the hospital until Monday evening.
The actress has been in ill health and her right leg was partially amputated in January.
But her spokesman called her a fighter and added: "She's not going to be the third."
