Gary Lightbody shares how he copes with depression on World Mental Health day
Gary Lightbody has shared his favourite "writers, healers and philosophers" to mark World Mental Health Day.
The Snow Patrol front man, who has been open about his struggle with depression in the past, shared his recommendations in a video posted on Instagram.
"There's no point listening to me. I'm in a band. What the hell do I know?" said Lightbody.
He revealed he is a fan of works by Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chödrön, Jack Kornfield and Alan Watts.
Lightbody described them as "titans" who can help you to live life with "more clarity, more serenity, more joy, more hope, more happiness".
