Gaz Beadle hints he's expecting a baby girl

The reality TV star has also had to defend claims his pregnant girlfriend has been drinking alcohol.

Gary 'Gaz' Beadle has hinted he's having a baby girl by declaring the colour pink is "growing on him".

The Geordie Shore star excitedly announced he and his girlfriend Emma McVey are expecting their first child together on Wednesday (23Aug17), posting a cute photo of himself wrapping his arms around the pregnant beauty while holding a small pair of white shoes.

And on Thursday he seemingly continued to keep fans in the loop when he took to social media to share a snap of him rocking a pink sweater and matching sneakers, complete with a suggestive caption.

"The colour pink is growing on me," he wrote alongside emojis including a winking face with a tongue out and a camera.

Fans bombarded the picture with comments asking Gaz to confirm he's set to welcome a daughter, though the cheeky star remained quiet and instead followed up with a cheesy selfie.

It hasn't all been plain sailing online though as the reality star has also had to hit back at trolls who accused Emma of drinking alcohol recently. In a photo posted on 30 July, the brunette media personality and her beau are seen sitting at a table enjoying a drink together, with Gaz choosing a pint while Emma opted for an alcohol-free cocktail.

Followers questioned her choice of drink, with many criticising her for being irresponsible, though Gaz quickly cleared things up in a picture comment.

"Ever heard of a mocktail jesus some people are so thick," he fumed, complete with a monkey emoji covering its face.

Other users chimed in to support him and Emma, with one writing, "Could the people looking for an excuse to troll about alcohol calm the eff down?! Maybe she didn't know?! I've had two kids and drank in the early weeks because I had no idea I was pregnant! Perhaps she didn't know. Perhaps it's a mocktail?! Judgy McJudgy Jump-to-conclusion Pants need to breath! #namaste".
