Stephen Graham has said he will be very sad to leave behind his This Is England character when the drama concludes.
The film has had two TV spin-offs, This Is England 86 and 88, and the final part, This Is England 90, is expected to air in 2014.
Stephen, who plays Combo, told Digital Spy: "That character has been such a huge and important part of my life. That character, that film basically, changed my life.
"So I will be very sad to see him go, but at the end of the day, it's been so great to be able to play a character for such a long time and to grow with it. It will be very sad for everyone involved with the finale."
The Boardwalk Empire star said he didn't know yet what the scheduling was for the final part of the English council estate-set show, directed again by Shane Meadows.
He said: "In typical Meadows fashion, no-one has got a clue really when it's coming back. No-one's got a clue what's going to happen or what's going on, but we're just all really looking forward to doing it.
"Shane wanted to take a break. He did the Stone Roses documentary and wanted to take a break before the next one. That's understandable."
