Gwyneth Paltrow: I'm a normal mum
Gwyneth Paltrow has insisted she is a normal mother at home, getting her hands dirty and helping her children with their homework.
The Oscar-winning actress, who has recently been showing off her singing talents in hit TV show Glee, has two children Apple, six, and Moses, four, with her husband, Coldplay's Chris Martin and told New magazine she does not live a glamorous showbiz life at home.
Gwyneth said: "At home, there isn't any of the glamour. I am just like any other regular mum; cooking, cleaning, wiping butts, picking up after the kids, being a wife and helping the kids with their homework."
She added: "Mind you, I'm terrible at maths. I can't even do my six-year-old's maths homework with her."
But the 34-year-old actress, who played a country singer in Country Strong, admitted her musical skills do come in handy as a mother for entertaining the kids.
She said: "I do still play guitar. It comes in very handy at kids' birthday parties and stuff like that.
"I just learned to play Wonderwall the other day, so I was very proud of myself with that one."
But Gwyneth insisted she and Chris have no plans to duet together.
She said: "No! Never! I think hell would freeze over first! So I guess if I did it would be called the Hell Freezes Over Band."
