Hasselhoff offered BGT lifeline
Simon Cowell has offered Britain's Got Talent (BGT) judge David Hasselhoff a lifeline, saying no decisions had been made yet about the next series.
It was reported the actor, who joined the panel earlier this year along with comic Michael McIntyre, will leave after just one run on the ITV show.
A report in The Sun said former Baywatch star Hasselhoff - whose ex-wife Pamela featured in Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother - had lacked "sparkle".
It also said McIntyre's position was under threat because he was considered "too nice".
But Cowell said: "I haven't made any decisions yet on BGT."
The last series of the talent show saw a shock win for singer Jai McDowall.
The 24-year-old support worker, from Ayrshire in Scotland, overcame his nerves to beat favourite Ronan Parke into second place.
