Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid and former Friends star Courteney Cox have sparked rumours they have married in secret after he was spotted wearing a wedding ring.
The Londonderry-man and the American star announced their engagement on Twitter last June following a whirlwind romance that began in 2013.
The 38-year-old proposed to the Cougar Town actress at the home of her best pal and former Friends comedy series castmate Jennifer Aniston.
At the time Cox posted a photograph of herself with McDaid and the words "I'm engaged to him!"
Then earlier this week McDaid, Cox and her daughter Coco paid a visit to the Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim where he was photographed wearing what looks like a wedding ring.
Cox (50) used Twitter to share her thoughts on the fun-filled day with her 810,000 followers.
"Fun times at Disneyland with my love @johnnymcdaid!" she wrote.
Social media sites are awash with speculation the couple have already tied the knot.
"Are Courteney Cox And Johnny McDaid already married?" one online user wrote.
Another pondered: "Did Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox get married in secret?"
Last year staff at D Cooley Jewellers in Derry posted pictures of the famous couple visiting the store.
"Well we are all overwhelmed today in Cooleys as Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid called in and we presented them both with our History of Derry ring," an employee of the company said at the time.
The couple seem very much in love, even using public messages to communicate their feelings to each other.
On March 17 Cox used Twitter to send McDaid a St Patrick's Day message.
"Happy St Patrick's Day to my love @johnnymcdaid," she wrote.
He replied: "It'd be happier if I were with my love! Love from Ireland x".
Cox was formerly married to actor David Arquette from 1999 to 2013.
