Heavy D slams 'humourless' Denise Welch after CBB eviction

Celebrity Big Brother's latest victim Heavy D didn't hold back after his eviction on Tuesday night (16Aug16), embarking on a new row with Denise Welch on the show's spin off.

Heavy D attacked Denise Welch for having no sense of humour as they exchanged barbs on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side on Tuesday night (16Aug16).

The Storage Hunters 'Boominator' was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier in the evening, and former Loose Women stars Denise and Carol McGiffin appeared on the spin-off show ahead of Heavy's discussion with host Rylan Clark-Neal about his exit.

While Denise admitted she would have liked to see Stephen Bear evicted, she acknowledged that Heavy was the second best option.

"I would have preferred Bear to go because I disliked him more than I disliked Heavy D, but above the other two (Lewis Bloor and Renee Graziano) I think he was the right man," Denise said.

The 58-year-old didn't hold back with her criticism of Heavy, adding: "I have (never) felt more irritated and angry watching television than I have watching the behaviour of this complete moron… I'm delighted that he's out!

"He's one of those people who upsets people on purpose - and then says it's only banter. It's not banter… To be so deliberately antagonistic when they're respectfully asking you to stop is just ridiculous!"

Having watched Denise's comments backstage, Heavy was quick to address them when he made his way onto the set for his interview.

"Get a sense of humour!" he shouted at the actress, before Denise replied, "I have a sense of humour - I just don't think you're funny."

Attempting to end the dispute, Denise said: "I think in this world, that there's a lot of people getting away these days by being really nasty and vicious - and saying it's only banter. That's you Heavy D."

The pair later put their differences aside and bonded over their mutual dislike of former The Only Way Is Essex star Lewis, even sharing a high five.

Heavy was the fourth housemate to be evicted from the house, following Grant Bovey, Saira Khan and Chloe Khan. The housemates will face another cull on Friday night (19Aug16) when another two will be shown the door.
