Holly Willoughby keeps vodka under her desk on Celebrity Juice

Holly Willoughby's Celebrity Juice co-star Keith Lemon admitted the show is "very boozy".

Holly Willoughby keeps vodka under her desk on the set of ITV2's comedy panel show Celebrity Juice, according to Keith Lemon.

The TV presenter, who has played the role of team captain on the show since 2008 alongside pals Fearne Cotton and Keith Lemon, is well known for her boozing antics, but funnyman Keith took it a step further during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday (04Jul18).

Discussing the hit ITV2 show with presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, the trio addressed the show's frequent use of alcohol and quickly turned their attention to the mum-of-three.

"Celebrity Juice is very boozy," Keith, real name Leigh Francis, conceded. "(But) I’m not saying that you should go out and get drunk."

Former tabloid editor Piers appeared to take the comment as a cue to reveal one of Holly's best-kept secrets, sharing triumphantly: "Holly Willoughby has vodka under her desk. I’ve sat next to her (and) seen it!"

The claims were backed up by the sketch artist, who went on to joke that the 37-year-old's drinking habits were reflective of an aged alcoholic.

"She’s like an old man! She’s got a brown paper bag under the desk," he quipped. "She looks like an angel but she’s got a guzzler of a tramp. She’s always at it – walks around the house with a drip full of booze. You’re smiling because you know it’s true!"

Piers couldn't help but agree, admitting: "I do know it’s true. I’ve drunk with Holly Willoughby. Trust me, if you have lunch with Holly Willoughby you cancel dinner."

Holly made headlines in 2016 when she presented an episode of This Morning with co-host Phillip Schofield having come straight from a National Television Awards after-party the night before. The TV duo turned up to the studio wearing the same outfits from the previous evening and, much to viewers' delight, confessed they were still intoxicated. The pair later admitted it had been a "very brave, possibly foolish" decision.

"I still to this day don’t know how we got away with it," the TV favourite told presenter Rylan Clark-Neal last year.
