Hollywood: I'm happy staying in UK

Paul Hollywood says there are talks to do another series of his US show - but he wants to stay at home.

The Great British Bake Off judge hosted the first series of The American Baking Competition with Marcela Valladolid.

Despite the huge success of Bake Off, The American Baking Competition was reportedly axed due to poor ratings.

But Paul told TV Times: "There are talks to do another but it would be difficult because I'm so busy in the UK.

"Plus, I don't want to be away from home too long. I'm happy staying here."

The star, who left Alexandra, 49, his wife of 15 years, amid reports of a relationship with his US co-star Marcela, said being in the limelight was a "double-edged sword".

"It's enjoyable and brings benefits, but it brings headaches too," he said. "I try to zone out and concentrate on my work."
