Honey G: 'Back down or get smacked down!'

Honey G has hit back at stars including Lily Allen, Jesy Nelson and Professor Green, insisting "Back down or get smacked down!"

Honey G believes Lily Allen's derogatory comments about her stem from her being "threatened".

The 31-year-old Smile singer took aim at The X Factor favourite when she labelled her "offensive". But now Honey G has responded, insisting Lily is just being "spiteful" with her remarks.

"She’s obviously feeling threatened by a white woman coming onto the scene and rapping and coming out and smashing it and shutting the whole thing down," she said during a Facebook Live chat with The Sun's Dan Wootton on Thursday (10Nov16).

"I think she’s being spiteful and malicious. She’s got a sharp tongue. She’s obviously saying this type of thing out of spite - she’s being spiteful. I don’t see how she can say she finds it offensive. She’s not exactly the spokesperson of the black community. She better take her jealousy elsewhere.”

Lily isn't the only famous face to hit out at Honey G - Little Mix's Jesy Nelson and Professor Green have also had some less than complimentary comments about the rapper, real name Anna Georgette Gilford.

Referring to Jesy's accusation that she's an "actress", Honey replied: "I mean literally that’s one of the most ridiculous things that I’ve ever heard.

"It’s annoying and obviously it’s quite insulting to be called an actress. I’ve been a musician the whole of my life. “I’ve got a musical background I’ve got a degree from one of the best universities for music production.

“I’ve been rapping and producing for about 15 years. I’m also involved closely with BBC Radio 1Xtra which is the UK’s biggest black music radio station. So yeah, she needs her head checked because she doesn’t really know what she’s chatting about."

Honey G is now the favourite to win The X Factor, and concluded her chat by saying: "I’ve had the public behind me, I’ve had 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg behind me. Snoop is saying he wants to record. Back down or get smacked down!"
