Two lawyers who star in the Netflix docuseries Making A Murderer will be stopping off in Belfast on their Irish tour.

Brendan Dassey's lawyers, Laura Nirider and Steven Drizin, will host Inside Making A Murderer 2 - False Confessions on June 6, 2019 at the Ulster Hall.

Nirider and Drizin will discuss coerced and false confessions, interrogation tactics, and the "wrongful conviction" of Brendan Dassey whose case and post-conviction process has captivated the world.

Nirider represents individuals who were wrongfully convicted of crimes when they were children or teenagers. As well as Dassey, she has represented Damien Echols of the West Memphis Three, whose case was profiled in the documentary West of Memphis.

Drizin is a Clinical Professor of Law at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where his research interests involve the study of false confessions and his policy work focuses on supporting efforts around the country to require law enforcement agencies to electronically record custodial interrogations.

Tickets are £29.00 (inclusive of booking fee) and go on sale this Thursday, December 6 at 9am from Ticketmaster and the Ulster Hall box office.
