Irish group Prodijig win dance show

Irish dance group Prodijig have been crowned the winners of this year's Got To Dance.

They beat young Liverpudlian ballet duo Tayleur and Elliott and Glasgow-based theatrical dance troupe Fear Of The Unknown in the final to win a £250,000 prize on the Sky1 show.

Judges Ashley Banjo, Kimberly Wyatt and Adam Garcia were highly impressed by Prodijig, with Ashley describing the group's final performance as "disgustingly good".

"Look what you did to the 6,000 strong audience here tonight, everyone was on their feet. Incredible," he continued.

Former Pussycat Doll Kimberly added: "You're world class, you're absolutely phenomenal. That was outstanding. You're on another level. You are so crowd-pleasing, it's just brilliant."

Prodijig said their triumph has filled them with pride.

"We are over the moon. When Davina called out Prodijig's name - we've never been so proud in our entire life," they said.

"Thanks to all our friends and family, to everyone everywhere in the UK and Ireland that voted. We all can't wait to go home and see our families."

Ashley's troupe Diversity performed a breath-taking new routine inspired by Michael Jackson in the final, which also saw competition from Antics, Boadicea, Kazzum, Sweet Surprise, Methods Of Movement, A Team and Unity UK.
