Jackson explains bathrobe incident

Jeremy Jackson has attempted to explain why he pulled glamour model Chloe Goodman's bathrobe open on Celebrity Big Brother - he is interested in bikini design.

The former Baywatch star, 34, was kicked off the show just three days in after Chloe, 21, claimed that he had drunkenly tried to look at her breasts while the two were alone in the toilet.

Now Jeremy has told ITV's This Morning: "My intentions were based on a relationship that Chloe and I had built regarding her swimming suits and how many of them she had, and how many times she had changed them on the show...

"I toured the world producing fashion shows, that included bikini lines, for five years...working with models, dressing models."

He added: "Talking about fashion or fashion lines is something I do on a regular basis with many of my female friends..."

Asked by This Morning host Phillip Schofield whether "you just go up to those models and have a look?", he replied: "I was drunk and with vomit on my face and I leaned to lift her robe to see here (touching his shoulder) to see the strap and (see) 'what bikini is this today?'... and she didn't have a bikini on.

"And that's when it turned into a naughty situation."

He added: "It was so slight but such a large mistake, and it's turned into ... an incident."

Jeremy, who was issued with a police caution for common assault over the incident, said that he had apologised to Chloe's family and that in future he would "proceed with a little more caution and understanding."

He said of the fallout: "I wasn't expecting it (the reaction), and I don't think Chloe was."

Jeremy dismissed any suggestion that he was not in the right state of mind to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, saying: "If I sat around waiting for the perfect moment to do each job, I'd be broke or on the streets..."

Despite being drunk on rum and vodka when he lifted Chloe's robe, he admitted: "I might have done the same thing sober."

He said that "legally" the C hannel 5 show was right to kick him out, adding: " Somebody had made a complaint and investigations needed to go on and actions needed to be taken... Would I have liked to have gone back in the house and told Chloe and assured her and hopefully made a stronger relationship, friendship in the future because of the misunderstanding? I think that would have been great too."

The series has lost two of its contestants - f ormer Coronation Street star Ken Morley was evicted from the show for using "unacceptable language" including repeated use of the word "negro".

Jeremy said: "He was warned many, many times. The Ken that I know - I had just four or five conversations with just us - and he is a very smart and a very hilarious man, but I wasn't actually in the room when he was saying some of those things - I just can't imagine he wasn't doing that on purpose.

"I was hoping that the general public would see through it and keep him there to make him pay for it, because he wanted out of there quick."

Jeremy's alleged incident, which was not shown on camera, came after Chloe went to his assistance as he vomited.

Afterwards, a sobbing Chloe told her housemates: "I was helping him and he went to my dressing grown top and put my boob out."

Jeremy, who played the son of David Hasselhoff's character on Baywatch, is well-known for his troubled personal life.

He was arrested in 2000 for manufacturing methamphetamines and has been to rehab five times.
